Lauren-Blair Donovan is a comedian, writer, puppeteer, actress, and director in Los Angeles. She's weird and dark and somehow still warm and silly. She has been trained by lovely folks at famous haunts like Upright Citizens Brigade, The Groundlings, Second City, and The Pack…as well as less conventional places like in people’s living rooms and being taught by literal clowns.
Lauren-Blair created an absurdist human and puppet project, Buzzkill Blvd, which is something of an adult Sesame Street with a slant on emotional intelligence. Buzzkill Blvd was a stage show pre-pandemic and is currently in the final stages of being prepared to launch on TikTok and Youtube. She also has been a personality on YouTube with a few series (more to come), including Creepy & Kooky Cali Vlog where she and friends visit dark or wacky places in SoCal- with most episodes taking place in cemeteries to normalize dialogues about death and loss while hunting for celebrity graves. She has also hosted a small handful of podcasts, been a part of several successful comedy teams, written for a few web series, and has so many other fun things cooking so please stay tuned.
Here on this site she writes about grief (shoutout to the dead parents and friends who died too young for making this possible), living with and understanding Complex PTSD, what it’s REALLY like to live in Los Angeles and pursue a career in Hollywood, demystifying buying and consuming cannabis, normalizing the role of friendships in our lives, and other pop culture musings that are relevant to deeper issues.
